Questions people ask

Does the person receiving it need Gyvar?
No. For a local payout they just need a mobile money number or a bank account. For a crypto send they need a wallet.
What does it cost?
The rate and any fee that applies are shown before you confirm, so the amount that lands is the amount you agreed to. Fees vary by destination and some rails charge nothing at all.
How long does it take?
Local payouts usually land within minutes. Crypto sends depend on the chain, and Lightning is close to instant.
What if I get the account number wrong?
Check it before confirming. Once a payment has left, neither we nor the receiving bank can pull it back.
Can I pay several people at once?
Yes. A payout run goes to many destinations from the same balance, and the record afterwards shows who received what.
Which countries can I send to?
Local currency in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda. A crypto send reaches a wallet anywhere.
What do I see after sending?
A receipt for every payment, showing what left your account, the rate used, the amount that landed and a reference you can quote to us.
Which assets can I send from?
Bitcoin, USDT and USDC. Each stablecoin is supported on five networks.
Are there limits on how much I can send?
Minimums are small: 1 USDT or USDC, and 0.00005 BTC on-chain. Upper limits depend on your account and where the money is going, and we will tell you before they apply to you.
